Thank you for your interest in Cloud Hands T’ai Chi classes. We are now accepting registration for the January – March 2018 session. The schedule is below.
January – March 2018 Class Schedule
The cost for a regular 10-week session is $230.00. Drop-in students are welcome for Corrections classes only, and need instructor permission; Drop-in fee is $30.00 per class.
All classes may register through this site. Strathmore/Bethesda location classes (Sunday) will be redirected to the CityDance site. You can also call CityDance at 301-581-5204.
Beginner Part 1 Classes
Beginner Part 1 classes introduce students to the “T’ai Chi Form,” or the choreography of 37 T’ai Chi movements and postures. In this class, students learn the 1st section (Beginner set) of the form—the first 12 of 37 movements. Each class meets once a week for one hour, for ten weeks.

Beginner Part 2 Classes
Beginner Part 2 classes are a continuation of the Beginner Part 1 classes. In the Beginner Part 1 classes students learn postures 1 -12 of the 37 postures that comprise the choreography of the entire “T’ai Chi Form”. In the Beginner Part 2 classes postures 13 – 24 are taught. Each class meets once a week for one hour, for ten weeks.

Corrections Classes (for continuing students)
Continuing students can refine and enhance their performance in this class. Students should be familiar with the entire choreography of the “T’ai Chi form.” This class covers the entire form of 37 movements.
Sunday Corrections classes include study in Sensing Hands. The fee for Sunday Corrections classes is $250 for ten weeks.
NOTE: Any Corrections students from other locations can join the Sunday morning combined “Corrections and Sensing Hands” class at the Bethesda location (see below) from 9:00-10:30 am at CityDance, for an additional session fee of $60. If you are interested in this option, you can register through CityDance or email Michael Ward to arrange.

Sword Students
Instructor permission is required to participate in all Sword classes. Beginner Sword class meets once a week for eleven weeks on Sunday mornings. Corrections Sword will meet on 4 Sunday evenings during the session. The cost for Corrections sword is $100 although Correction Sword students who also register for the Beginner Sword classes can take the evening sword classes for free.
